Peak energy, climate change, and the collapse of global civilization: the current peak oil crisis by Tariel Mórrígan

This is the best review on peak oil, peak energy, peak global population and the near future that I have yet read, and I must have read every book on this subject. It is bang right up to date as of October 2010, so the data is still relevant. If you like your facts and figures and not just somebodies view of the story then this report is for you. It is about 220 pages long. I've printed it out and for a small fee (to cover paper and ink (say $10)), I'd be willing to print it out and bind it for your personal use or as a Transition Victoria copy. You will not find a better researched explanation of peak energy and its near future consequences. 10/10 much recommended. Douglas Adams
