Hi Linda - I met you at Denise's last linen workshop.  I'm trying to reconfigure my back garden and one of the things that needs doing is digging out a Chinese Emperor Peach tree.  Not your normal peach - this one has flesh the colour of a beet and is smaller than a normal peach but if grown properly maybe could be bigger. Tastes delicious - something between a plum and a peach.  Rapid grower, easy to start from seed.

My problem is that I don't seem to get the hang of pruning and care it needs (being a peach).  I would like to pass it on to someone who knows more about fruit trees than me.  I'm going to be digging it up this winter or late fall or whenever someone wants it.  The tree is in a raised box but open to the soil underneath.

Is there anyone out there who would like to try replanting this tree? I don't want to just throw it away.  It has about 9 peaches on it now (because I don't know how to prune).

Could you please get the word out for me as I'm not sure how to do that yet.

Thanks

barb

Hi Linda,

Can you help us (Well Foundation & Centre for Earth and Spirit) format our Event posting that I just put up on TV.  How can I edit the event details, and how can I insert a couple of hyper-links to the Well blog and the CES website, so people can go to get more info?

Hi Linda,  Yesterday I got some oak wine barrels from capital iron for $30 each which is about a third off. You need to get the ones with the bands still in place as they move with the preasure. I am going to cut them in half and re pot some fruit trees into them. Jack.
